On the morning of February 4, 2026, the School of Life Sciences, Nanchang University, hosted a Spring Festival forum for retired faculty and staff at Qingshanhu Campus. Ge Gang, Vice President of Nanchang University, Xia Bin, Secretary of the School’s Party Committee, and other school leaders gathered with retired faculty representatives to celebrate the festival. The forum was hosted by Xia Bin.

On behalf of the university and the school, Ge Gang and Xia Bin extended holiday greetings to the retired faculty, thanked them for their historic contributions to the school’s development, and briefed them on the university and school’s recent progress and future. They also invited the veterans to continue supporting the school with valuable suggestions.

The retired comrades shared their memories of working at the university, expressed joy at the school’s recent achievements, and offered suggestions on discipline development and young teacher training. The school leaders inquired about their physical and living conditions and presented Spring Festival condolences.

The forum carried forward the tradition of respecting teachers, consolidated development consensus, and concluded successfully in a warm atmosphere.
